The weather is starting to cool and the leaves are beginning to change color and it has put me in the holiday spirit! Today, I’m going to show you How To Make A Fabric Star Ornament With Free Printable Pattern! This is a super easy project that is perfect for beginners. I love the holidays and am so glad they are getting closer. I am always looking for fun seasonal projects and when I came across this one I knew I had to make it. These little projects are a fun way to break up the larger projects you are trying to make. I like going from longer projects to short ones as the short ones are quick to give you the satisfaction of completing something. This little ornament is easy to do with the kids. You could make a few of these and personalize them to give away as gifts. The star shape is easy to cut out thanks to the included free pattern. You can make this in about 15 minutes or faster depending on your skill level. Check your scrap pile to see if you have enough flannel or other fabric to make this. That would make this a super cheap project to make.

I ended up having some buffalo plaid and some fun snowman print flannel leftover from a previous project. If you don’t have any, you could just look for some fat quarters or if you have a lot of longer fabric you could make your own fabric squares using this tutorial. Once you have your material picked out, gather up the rest of your supplies from the list below, and let’s get started!
