Meeting in Luxembourg, ICMA award winners Marc-André and Ivan Boumans started working on a new Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra to be composed by Boumans and premiered by Marc-André in 2025.

Composer Ivan Boumans is a recipient of the Composer Award in 2020/21, and double-bass player Marc-André, was honored with the ICMA-Classeek Award in 2023.
